On July 7, the City Council proclaimed July as Disability Pride Month, marking the fourth consecutive year the City has recognized this important observance. Disability Pride Month promotes visibility and mainstream awareness of the positive pride felt by people with disabilities, celebrating diversity and fostering a society that is inclusive and accessible to all individuals, regardless of ability.
